June 1 – Investigators from the LPD’s major crimes squad arrested 58-year-old Djillali Ait-Aoudia, on charges of sexual assault against several mentally challenged individuals. The incidents occurred between February 19 and May 22, while the suspect was acting as taxi driver of an adapted transport vehicle. The three victims are between 20 and 37 years old.
